All Saints has a long tradition of working with area churches to provide dinner for Coalition for the Homeless residents.
On the third Tuesday of every month a designated kitchen team arrives early to prepare a hearty meal. Serving volunteers then arrive at the Thomas Center at at 5:15 p.m. to load the meal into cars before leaving for the Coalition to serve its residents. Participation does not require a monthly commitment. For information about this ministry, e-mail Beth Davis or call her at (407) 599-4301.
Bring non-perishable food and toiletries for the Christian Service Center of Winter Park with you to church on the first Sunday of each month. Current pantry needs include spaghetti sauce, canned pasta (e.g. Chef Boyardee varieties), pancake mix and syrup.
On the second Saturday and Sunday of each month, All Saints parishioners pack boxes full of food and deliver them to families in need in our immediate area. This rewarding ministry is loved by our parish community and many parishioners ask to continue delivering a box to the same family as relationships are formed. After all, Love Wins!
To participate with us, arrive at the Thomas Center at 8:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month to pack food boxes and/or stay following second Sunday 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. worship services (after the 10:00 a.m. Eucharist during our summer schedule) to pick up a food box or two along with necessary information to deliver to local Winter Park-area families.
For over 30 years, All Saints has teamed with St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church to provide food, clothes and other holiday needs to local families. Each year in November, All Saints hosts the Giving Thanks Dinner where guests come to enjoy a nice dinner and fellowship. All guests of the dinner are encouraged to bring food, toys and cash donations to be given to St. Margaret Mary who hosts the stores.
