Dear All Saints Family: A Request for Your Prayers

04.26.17 | by Fr. Rob Lord

As we enter the months of May and June, I want to ask for your prayers. The first request for prayer is for my travel to the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe in Northern Ireland. Bp. Ken Good (who visited All Saints a couple of years ago) has invited me, together with Nancy, to teach the Annual Clergy Conference of his diocese. I will be with around 55 priests for this gathering in mid-May. We also plan to see our new granddaughter born to our son Jonathan and his wife Jana. Please pray for safe travel and for God to touch the hearts of the clergy.

The second prayer request is for a healthy transition for Fr. Cameron and Carly. Fr. Cameron has been called to a new parish ministry as Associate Rector for Parish Life and Community Development at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Mountain Brook, Alabama. I want to express my admiration for Cameron in the two years he has served at All Saints and enriched our parish life. It is a gift to have the resources to bring in newly ordained clergy and give them experience that leads to continued service in the larger church. We will have a reception on his last Sunday, June 4,—Pentecost Sunday.

I am grateful for all the leadership of our parish, both staff and volunteers who consistently empower us in worship and in mission here at All Saints. Please continue to be strong in your participation and support at this vital time in our life together.

    Gratefully,

    Rob+
